The Pillowtrack provide mobility and recovery with very low pressure. The inflation pressure is of about 1 PSI, increasing to about 5 PSI when holding a vehicle. The maximum allowable working pressure is 10 PSI. The low operational pressure explains how the Pillowtrack can be inflated when placed under a vehicles' wheel using a hand pump.

No. Although the Pillowtrack has the ability to carry and lift the vehicles weight, it is not a jack replacement and should not be used as such. Safety measures should be taken as specified in the users' manual.
In what recovery situations could the Pillowtrack be used?
When used properly, the Pillowtrack will assist in all common recovery situations: Trench crossing, Step climbing, High centre, Wheel articulation, Sand and Mud. Yet there are extreme conditions in which Pillowtrack should not be used or would not be of any use: side slopes is one example, deep ponds are another.
